I am looking to have a "custom" CRM tool built for our growing sales force.  It will preferably be built in MS Access or Excel.  It will need to accommodate approximately 10 users.  This project should not take more than a few weeks.  I am attaching a simple workflow chart for your reference. Key components will be: -Customer Information (10 components), with drop down menu choices for several of the components. -Several time-line based action items that will automatically triggered/generated

In the interest of robustness and scalability, MS Access and/or Excel are not recommended to be used in these types of applications, moreso in a CRM application. What is appropriate is some kind of networked client-server architecture driven by a database management system (=database server).

i am working precisely with an excel document in which i described our sales process. our sales departament has 38 sales rep, equal numbers hu tera and farmers. our sales funnel has a classic funnel shape with 3 stages(lead opportunity, opportunity management and account management) with a total of 59 activities. our aim is to discuss with our salea reps on terms of activities(obvious, easy to understand, and follow) rather than sales objectives or business objectivess. technically, our excel has drop down lists, formulas(countifs, sumifs, ifs etc). would be glad to show you the document should you be interested and offer you even consultancy if you would like.

Since I'm in charge of the Relational Marketing for a retail company, I understand from a Business perspective the needs of a Marketing department and also the needs of the company in terms of building customer loyalty. Working inside Oracle Corporation and later as a Reseller of CRM and Customer Experience Solutions, has given me a broader understanding of the sales process and the sales funnel in order to follow up the sales force team activities. I think that my business background together with my deep knowledge in Software Engineering and Programing can help you have the CRM tool that you are expecting. MS Access is Ok, but I would rather recommend develop a simple CRM tool in the cloud so that you have access from other devices that have an internet browser (mobile phone). For the cloud alternative, you will need to buy the hosting service needed. The proposal includes my services only. According to your requirements the tool could let you register the customer profile information as a first step, and then log the 7 additional steps showed in the workflow. Each step would be categorized per step name to have the information in an orderly fashion and with a start and end dates. I hope you find this proposal to fit your needs.
