It is a Hotel booking system for WordPress.
We are a medium-stay accommodation provider, taking bookings between 2-12 months. We have seasonal pricing for example, in Jan $600/week, Feb $700/week, March $500/week.
This project is to customise the following features:
1. Extend the software to support a payment schedule/reoccurring payments
Let's say the entire stay cost $7,740. If they are staying for several months we will ask for part payments for example, $2580 for Jan, then on 31st Jan they pay $2580 for Feb, then at the end of Feb the last $2580 payment. This includes monitoring that they have paid for more than they have stayed.
2. Change the security deposit so it's based on a number of days instead of a fixed amount. For example, 2 weeks security deposit, not a fixed $500.
3. Integrate a new payment gateway - ie a direct debit provider
This would be pushing the payment schedule to the provider and also as payments are processed according the payment schedule, adding the payments to the booking
4. Adding automated reminders based on payments
5. Automating check-in and check-out instructions
