Develop Existing Programme - Java Script sending email alerts based on Google Spreadsheet data

We currently have a Java program which runs on our computer on a daily basis. It scans a Google Spreadsheet and will send out email alerts if certain information is still required from our customers.
For example if field A1 still says REQUIRED on a certain date displayed in B1 then an email will be sent.
The existing system is has been created by a previous freelancer and we have the files.
We need someone to edit the Java file to create 11 new alerts for new spreadsheets.
