I have a script that logs on to a web site and downloads data and presents it in one page.
It's been working very well but recently is intermittent (works about 5% of the time). Strangely when I have not tried to use it for a while (e.g. a few hours) and then try it, it seems to work better.
I've tried to introduce more sleep time between page requests to simulate a real user but that didn't seem to have much affect. I also tried upgrade the PHP to 7.4 but that didn't seem to help either and now have a new issue come that I didn't used to get:
Error in PHP 7.4 : join(): Passing glue string after array is deprecated. Swap the parameters.
I tried to swap the parameters around but that didn't help.
I'm not sure if it could be about cookies or not (google chrome Application --> Cookies appears to show numerous cookies).
Adding to this...
1)When I look at Google Chrome Developer about the cookie data it appears to contain a lot more than the local cookie file generated by cURL.
2)I've tried to simplify the code and keep the cURL session open but this didn't seem to work.
If interested in this project, I will give you 2 to try and fix the issue. If not able to then please quote seperately to convert the code to use PhantomJS (or similar) instead of cURL.
