This is a clients site. Do not make any attempts to contact the site owner for any reason.
The site is general auction . com
We have a custom wordpress plugin that is reading an XML feed and importing the products from that feed into
the website as posts (auction listings)
Here are the problems:
Currently all posts (auction listings) are deleted before the parsing of the XML feed to create the updated auction listings. Instead
we would like the script to only delete the auction listings that match listings coming from the feed. In other words, only
delete an auction listing if newer (or the same) information is available in the XML feed. If the auction listing is not in the feed, then
do not delete it.
If the XML feed contains multiple images for the auction listing, please load them into the listing, instead of creating a listing for each image (making duplicate listings).
If "Yes" is selected for "Featured Auction Inventory" then that item needs to be tagged as featured so that it appears in the featured box on the homepage.
Sometimes duplicate auction listings are created, we need it to not do that anymore.
Sometimes the image is not loaded into the auction listing, we need all images to always load into the auction listing.
Non Feed related:
'Live Internet Bidding' on the homepage with link needs to appear above the categories on the category and auction listing pages.
