Joomla Menu Problem - Keep Menu Active

Heres the problem: On the Joomla Site, We have created several Menus. The problem is that only links from the menu to Web Links and Components keep the Menu in Active State. If we link to a Content item, Content Category/Section or Static Content. The menu closes and disappears. We want the menu to stay in a active state always regardless of what page we are linking to. If the menu link comes under any particular menu, that menu should always be active or open. Should be pretty straight forward for Joomla Expert. Please show us what we are doing wrong. We will pay $10-$15 for this and leave a great feedback ! Thanks
