I am looking for someone who is experience in PHP and the open source shopping cart Oscommerce. I want to change the functionality of Oscommerce. This functionality is split across many pages, is extremely complex and almost requires a complete re-write of the entire first page. I think it is about an 8 hour job. The site is [login to view URL] One the first page you will notice that the display the pictures show side by side [login to view URL] Compared to [login to view URL] The items are displayed vertically. I want the items to be dispayed as they are on the home page side by side. There has already been many months of work on the site with over 5000 items added to the data base so the program will need to test their changes remotely. We are just completing the site and I will many more project for the programmer so I am looking to create a long term relationship.

ALOT more then an 8 hour job, if you have any idea how complex it is, you would not be saying this. Rewriting oscommerce ruins its functionality and defeats the purpose of using it to begin with. If you don't like the way osc works, then I sugesst you use something else. I am posting on this bid to make everyone aware that this project is alot of work and will cost thousands to do. I don't want to see anyone get burned by this uninformed project post. Nor do I want anyone to misunderstand this guy, he is just misinformed and doesn't know osc very well. I know because I am a osc pro and have been for many years. Good luck everyone!

Not likely an 8 hour job as you estimate. I've build many osCommerce sites many with mods, I'm realistic about pricing and it would likely take me a few days.
