I have a database that I created in MySQL. It has a CLIENT table which has client info and also includes a client reference row. The live web chat service I use has an API which can send a string of data to a URL on my site. This data needs to be extracted into the appropriate fields in my database. It will have another table with the relevant rows for the data which is to be passed from the JSON POST API. It will then needs to identify the client that information belongs to by matching the client ref with the reference field from the JSON API data and then send an email to that client from my CLIENT table email address automatically with specific information from that string of data. For example a client may have an ID A0001. When a chat is complete, it will send data to my database. It will save the data with widget ID A0001, then it will save that data, match Widget ID and client ref and send an email to that client. Security is very important. I need it to be made so that data cannot be passed by any other third party to my url and then enter the database. There will be two different email types that go out. One that is a transcript of the live chat and one that is a message left by the client. The message type is contained within the data passed to my database. I have a link to the Event API details.
