I have a website [url removed, login to view] and I have installed a wordpress in a sub-directory [url removed, login to view]
However, whenever I click on one of the posts, it gives a 404 error and gets redirected to the main domain [url removed, login to view] because the htaccess under main domain redirects all 404 links.
I think the htaccess in main folder and in wordpress are interfering with each other. These htaccess files are heavy as I use them to block some bad bots on the site and also to rewrite some urls in main site [url removed, login to view]
PFA the 2 htaccess files. And let me know your bids. I want the wp on subdirectory to function smoothly.

I saw the menu links, those are correct i think you need to update your permalinks once so that subdirectory will work smoothly sometimes this issue is solved by permalinks
Its very easy. As a have over 5 year experience i can easily do it. You can also do. Create the milestone and release it after that. Put this on top of .htaccess ErrorDocument401default
I can check and do this,I ran websites for last 10 years, if i dont do you don't have to pay any, i think this wordpress is not that complicated
