Script that will modify picture name

Hello,
We need a script that will add the name of the folder to the file. All has to be automatic when the script is ran.
For example;
File name: 123456
In this file, there are 10 pictures, they will be called [login to view URL]
We want a script that when runs it does this.
All the images in the picture become [login to view URL]
We do not want the -picture-of-a-house part, but we want to insert name of the folder in front of the picture with a dot.
All folders will be uploaded on our server.
