I have an api and i need to pull information from it to display
It is from the openfda api here: [login to view URL]
I need to be able to search for a medication
and return
1. the list of strengths
2. list of dosages
3. the list of routes
4. a description of the medication.
This can be done on a webpage. I enter the drug in an text box and submit it. to the api. and then you generate the results.
I also need to display this information as well. These are query field names to make this easier for you.
application_numberarray of strings
This corresponds to the NDA, ANDA, or BLA number reported by the labeler for products which have the corresponding Marketing Category designated. If the designated Marketing Category is OTC Monograph Final or OTC Monograph Not Final, then the application number will be the CFR citation corresponding to the appropriate Monograph (e.g. “part 341”). For unapproved drugs, this field will be null.
brand_namearray of strings
The brand or trade name of the product.
dosage_formarray of strings
The dosage form of the drug product.
generic_namearray of strings
The dosage form of the drug product.
manufacturer_namearray of strings
Name of company corresponding to the labeler code segment of the NDC.
product_ndcarray of strings
The labeler manufacturer code and product code segments of the NDC number, separated by a hyphen.
product_typearray of strings
The route of administration of the drug product.
routearray of strings
The type of drug product.
substance_namearray of strings
The list of active ingredients of a drug product.
