Create a BASIC WordPress theme that mirrors the look and feel of [login to view URL]
Everything should be fairly basic in terms of a WordPress implementation, but there are two items that are of particular interest/note:
Unlike a traditional WordPress theme, you'll notice that Axios has combined the equivalent of the homepage and the [login to view URL] template.
If you visit [login to view URL], you'll noticed that the full text of the articles (prior to the "Go Deeper" break) appear on the homepage. A user can expand articles to "Go Deeper" (read more) right where they are, without having to click-through to a new page or cause any hard reloading of pages or DOM reloads.
At the same time, you can notice that when scrolling through [login to view URL], every time a new article loads, the URL slug is updated and a new "page view" event is generated. As a result, a JS event will be needed so that we can hook into the URL change for firing off new Google Analytics pageview events (as well as any other custom "events") we may have.
(Note: [login to view URL] itself is not hosted on WordPress.)
Example: Visit [login to view URL], to see that scrolling past the article loads an finite scroll stream of articles in the same way that visiting [login to view URL] does from the homepage.
A scratch theme is not required; something built from existing WP theme templates is adequate.
