With standard Vtiger 6.5, there is a bug in the permissions for the history widget on the dashboard. Regardless of how you set up permissions, no permissions are applied. This means that whenever someone send email, everyone can see it on the dashboard — even if they don’t have permission to see it.
A bug also exists in the global search. No permissions are set for emails, which allows emails to show up in the global search for anyone to read.
I need a fix to ensure privacy rules are in forces for these 2 features. A user will only see his or her updates, as well as the updates of lower ranking roles.

Hi, I hope what you are trying achieve is related to sharing privileges. Are you referring to Mail Manager as the emails? or the email which users send. In Vtiger 6.5 there is no privilege rule set to email already. Yo Daha Fazla
