Dear Freelancer, project is pretty simple : Need a Linux Expert to harden and secure 1 x Cpanel Servers. There are spam emails being sent from the server and we need this fixed. We've looked already and scanned the directories for malicious files, which we found and deleted, but spam is still being sent out. Please document what you have done, how you've hardened the server, so that we can duplicate onto another server should this occur. Basically, once you've fixed it, it should not occur anymore. So here are the tasks required : 1 - Fix spam problem inc. xmlrpc issue 2 - Find backdoor and clean malicious files 3 - secure the server 4 - install and configure csf 5 - provide documentation of what has been done. Will be chosing the freelancer today. Please let me know if you can start immediately and provide ETA for completion. Thanks

In overall it will take max 3 days time. Spam needs monitoring. I can fix all issues. I am IT expert, full stack administrator. Backdoor finding can take also extra time. It might be that is not used common backdoor but custom build. If its random php files then i know this backdoor. 1 - Fix spam problem inc. xmlrpc issue 2 - Find backdoor and clean malicious files 3 - secure the server 4 - install and configure csf 5 - provide documentation of what has been done.
