For this project, I need a SCARA robot controlled using four Mitsubishi motors and drivers to execute specific movements based on kinematic equations that I will provide. The system must be programmed on a PLC using GX Works3, and it must also simultaneously control an additional small motor for the gripper mechanism, allowing it to rotate 90 degrees in both directions. Please note that my GX Works3 license is provided by my school and is strictly tied to my personal PC; since I cannot share the software license, the developer will either need to have their own, or we will have to collaborate by setting up a remote desktop connection to my computer.

Hello, I am Muhammad Javed, an Electrical Engineer with more than 10 years of experience in PLC programming, Mitsubishi automation, motion control, robotics, and GX Works3. I have thoroughly understood your requirement for a SCARA robot controlled by four Mitsubishi motors and drives, with motion generated from the kinematic equations you will provide. I can develop the PLC program in GX Works3 to calculate and execute the required joint movements, coordinate the four axes, and achieve accurate positioning based on your specified equations and motion requirements. I will also integrate the additional gripper motor and program its 90° clockwise/counterclockwise rotation with appropriate control logic, sequencing, limits, and interlocks. The PLC program will be structured clearly with meaningful tags, comments, and organized motion/control routines so it is easy to troubleshoot and modify. Regarding the GX Works3 license, I can work using my own licensed environment where applicable, or collaborate through a remote desktop connection to your PC if your school license must remain tied to your machine. I can coordinate closely with you during testing and commissioning. I am available to start immediately and can provide a reliable, well-structured Mitsubishi PLC solution tailored to your SCARA application.

For a SCARA Robot Arm Programming with Mitsubishi Motors, the hard part is balancing sensor scanning accuracy, battery life, Bluetooth/SIM fallback, and OTA-ready embedded reliability. I've handled similar builds involving Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, usually where the important part was translating the brief into a reliable working system. My approach would be to validate the sensor matrix and power budget first, then design the acquisition PCB, embedded firmware, connectivity fallback, and OTA/admin controls in staged prototypes. For this project, I would focus especially on: - Sensor front-end, matrix scanning strategy, MCU selection, and PCB layout - Battery/power budget, Bluetooth setup, SIM fallback, buffering, and geolocation - OTA firmware, remote activation/deactivation, ownership reset, and admin controls If helpful, I can outline the sensor-to-cloud prototype plan and PCB/firmware risk checklist before committing to the full board. As an experienced automation engineer specialized in PLC programming and robotics, I am confident about my ability to effectively execute this project. My extensive background in industrial automation, specifically in projects such as wastewater and water treatment plants, equipped me with a profound understanding of system software development and SCADA program implementation. I have worked with different PLC brands including Siemens, Delta, ABB, Omron and the explicit Mitsubishi motors that you require for your project. I would like to acknowledge the condition you've mentioned about the GX Works3 license restriction; fortunately, I do possess a valid license for this software which allows us to synchronize our work seamlessly. The fact that I have completed hands-on projects using GX Works3 can ensure a smooth coordination between your Mitsubishi motors and my programming skills. Moreover, I have experience configuring and parameterizing ABB & Siemens drivers- both brands which are essential for your SCARA robot arm movements control.

Hi, I am an embedded systems engineer with over 16 years of experience developing motion-control, automation, and firmware systems. I can translate your kinematic equations into a structured GX Works3 PLC program for the four Mitsubishi motor axes, coordinate the required SCARA movements, and control the gripper motor for reliable ±90° rotation. I would first map the equations and movement sequence, then implement homing, position commands, interlocks, limits, and synchronized gripper control. We can test each axis independently before validating the complete motion and tuning speeds and acceleration. Working through a remote desktop connection to your licensed PC is acceptable. Which Mitsubishi PLC, motor, and driver models are being used, and are the limit/home sensors already wired? I would be glad to discuss the movement sequence and project details with you.

Hello, The key part of this project is **translating your SCARA kinematic equations into reliable PLC motion control for four Mitsubishi motors plus the gripper axis**. I can help you handle this accurately and efficiently without overcomplicating the process. I have hands-on experience with **Electrical Engineering, Robotics, and Embedded Systems**, including motion sequencing and coordinated actuator control in automation projects. For your project, I would focus on **GX Works3 PLC logic**, **motor control timing and interlocks**, and **gripper rotation control with safe direction limits**, while making sure the final result is **stable, repeatable, and easy to tune from your equations**. I can start immediately and expect to complete this within 10 days. One detail I'd like to confirm before starting: **are your kinematic equations already mapped to the Mitsubishi axis scaling and I/O signals, or should I help define that conversion too**? Best regards, Miguel

131: I bring the “math-to-motion” workflow you need—turning your SCARA kinematic equations into PLC-ready control logic with dependable Mitsubishi motor sequencing. I’ll implement the inverse kinematics, trajectory steps, and safe homing/limit handling for a 4-axis SCARA using Mitsubishi motors and drivers, then map each move to GX Works3 function blocks and coordinated axis commands. Your GX Works3 licensing constraint is understood. Because my development environment can’t use your school-tied license, I can work with either (1) my own GX Works3 setup (if available on my side) or (2) a remote desktop collaboration on your PC to build, test, and debug the PLC project without software sharing. I’ll also integrate the gripper auxiliary motor, driving it to rotate ±90° in both directions concurrently with the arm motion using timing/interlock logic.

Can you share the SCARA link lengths and motor encoder details so I can implement the provided kinematic equations accurately for a PLC scan? You’ll get a full GX Works3 program that drives four Mitsubishi motors/servo drivers for coordinated joint motion, plus a separate gripper axis rotating ±90° with proper interlocks, homing, and safe stops. Because your GX Works3 license is tied to your school PC, we’ll either use my own GX Works3 environment (preferred) or work via remote desktop on your machine to compile, validate, and tune logic end-to-end. I’ll structure the project into reusable function blocks for forward/inverse kinematics, trajectory sequencing, and I/O abstraction, so movement updates are easy. I’m Wesley Newman (IoT & Embedded System Specialist) with 10+ years in embedded control—designing reliable, well-documented solutions from equations to tested code.
