Snowflake-to-Power BI dashboards usually slow down when the semantic model is built ad hoc instead of designed up front, so every new report means re-deriving the same measures. I'd shape the data with a proper star schema, build reusable DAX measures once, and layer the executive dashboards with drill-throughs on top of that clean model instead of report-specific hacks. You'd get the .pbix with documented measures ready to extend. Are you pulling from Snowflake via DirectQuery or importing, and roughly how many datasets/tables are in scope for the first pass?

Hi, This is very close to the kind of Power BI work I usually do — building the model and measures first, then using that foundation to create management reports that are actually useful for decision-making. I’m comfortable with Power Query, data modeling, DAX, drill-throughs and executive dashboard design. Connecting to Snowflake and working from your existing tables shouldn’t be an issue either, especially since the warehouse and permissions are already handled on your side.
