SENIOR PRODUCT INNOVATION DESIGNER (Ref: SPID 01/16)

We are a leading multinational company, producing world famous, innovative personal care consumer goods, leaders in their field in Greece

The Position:

The role of the incumbent will be part of product and packaging design innovation dept. and he/she will be responsible to design new products. More specifically, the incumbent will contribute to the product design team through innovative ideas depicted in 2D-3D designs, will contribute with fresh ideas from other sectors/industries and he/she will sketch and design product parts – mainly hand held plastic parts.

He/she will serve the Innovation process, will be the main liaison to international innovation team and will present his/her or team ideas and progress to larger teams and management.

His/her methods will be agile, creative and supportive.

Ηe/she is an essential part of R&D New Product Development initiation and will collaborate with other teams such as marketing, R&D etc

Role Requirements:

Candidates must possess a University Degree, preferably a BA in Industrial/Product Design, possibly Automotive Design. Postgraduate studies with a focus to new product design and/or innovation should be considered a plus.

Additionally they should have past experience 4-6 years in a position related to FMCGs New Product Design most preferably in a multinational environment and a proven experience with new product development. He/she might have been developing product for consumers aiming to ergonomics and functionality with organic forms such as mobiles, automotive, car interiors, shoes, toothbrushes, pens, in general hand-gripping devices etc. Experience designing for injection molding of plastic components is required.

International experience is a must and he/she most probably has been a member of an in-house corporate design.

Excellent English and possibly other European languages is a must.

Candidates should be expert in 2D & 3D Design packages, preferably in Photoshop, 3DS Max, the Adobe Creative Suite and possess advanced sketching skills.

Additionally, they should have very good project management and communication skills. Team collaboration and communication skills through global communication tools (web meetings, teleconferencing) is essential.
