Technical Liaison/Technology Manager
I am in need of a technical liaison for a large client of mine. The position entails speaking with, via email and to a lesser extent telephone, web designers, flash banner designers, paid placement campaign managers and search engine optimization specialists, most of which are located in India. The liaison will then communicate to me in plane English based on those conversations. The liaison will also communicate with my client and relate technical information, especially regarding search engine optimization work, to my client. Please note that although we will at times ask for your technical expertise and recommendations, the main job is to act as a liaison between our technicians and myself and the client. We will have weekly meetings with the client via conference calls in which the liaison will communicate the status of the banner advertisement, seo and ppc campaigns we are managing for the client, based on information that the liaison has gotten from the meetings with the technicians. The liaison should be able to answer all technical questions and concerns of the client on such calls, and must take note of all client requests and forward these to the technicians (and make sure that they are completed). The liaison will also have weekly meetings and frequent check up phone calls with me.
Candidate needs to be well versed in search engine optimization, creation of banner advertisements, paid placement campaigns and web design. Candidate must return all calls and emails promptly. The position will likely entail 10 to 25 hours of work per month. The payment schedule will be worked out, but should come to about $30 to $50 per hour depending on experience.
