Division: Portfolio Management, Investment and Strategy JOB PURPOSE: Provide Portfolio Management, Investment and Strategy the support on the financial modelling to be build based on the project and finance documents, participate on the evaluation and cross function discussion and prepare material for the management . 4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Team Supervision § Organise and supervise the work of the assigned team to ensure that all work within a specific area of the activity is carried out in an efficient manner, which is consistent with operating procedures and policy. § Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to assigned team to support their overall development. § Promote the organization’s values and ethics in all activities within the team to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the organization. Continuous Improvement § Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction, as well as risk minimizing initiatives. Reporting § Prepare sectional statements and reports timely and accurately to meet Internal and department requirements, policies, and quality standards. Job Specific Responsibilities § Develop complex Financial Models by analysing key business drivers and conducting scenario and sensitivity analysis to ensure compliance with project documents, accounting, and taxation principles. § Conduct business valuations and investment analysis through due diligence and valuations exercises to evaluate businesses for investment opportunities. § Prepare internal reports, information memorandum, summary and presentations for senior management. § Develop understanding of the commercial and contractual implications under various contracts, specifically for Project Financing. § Support to perform a commercial analysis and negotiate with the stakeholders on potential solutions for challenges arise from different phase of the projects § Participate in negotiations of commercial and contractual aspects of the projects with banks/financial institutions, contractors, and other third parties under the guidance of team lead. § Prepare the financial models to evaluate impact on investments returns on proposed exercises such as PWPA extension, refinancing, LTSA negotiations, or any critical matter requiring shareholders participation. § Secure internal approvals as per the guidelines. Collaboration § Support the team to work with management of the portfolio teams to prepare recommendation to HQ senior management on any financial/contractual/commercial/strategic matter. § Support the development of strong relationships with strategic partners and all relevant external/internal entities with highest standards of business ethics, in-order to improve business outcomes whilst protecting business interests. § Support to manage and execute as needed in the writing, formatting, processing, and timely execution of reports to ensure proper books and records of operating assets.
