Excel Accounting Automation & Macro Development

As an accountant, I'm looking for an expert who can assist me in automating my manual accounting tasks in Microsoft Excel. The tasks include creating books of accounts, reconciling, processing payroll, and preparing financial statements like P&L and Balance Sheets. Key Responsibilities: - Automate the creation of books of accounts, General Ledgers, Trial Balance, and P&L - Develop macros for Excel to streamline these tasks - Automate data entry, transaction categorization, and report generation in the books of accounts Ideal Skills and Experience: - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and VBA for macro development - Strong background in accounting - Experience in automating tasks in Excel - Ability to create user-friendly automated systems - Proficiency in advanced Excel functions like VLOOKUP, INDEX, and MATCH. - Experience in data analytics and visualization tools within Excel. - Certifications such as CPA or ACCA that demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting principles. - Experience with developing and integrating Excel Add-ins for enhanced functionality. - Basic understanding of SQL for potential future database integrations. - Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reports and automated tasks. - Skills in testing and quality assurance to ensure the system runs smoothly and without errors. - Experience in creating financial models and scenarios using Excel. - Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve any automation and accounting-related issues. - Experience with project management to ensure timely delivery of automated solutions. No integration with external accounting software or databases is required. The automated system should have an intuitive and user-friendly interface for ease of use.
