Proofreading and editing a children's eBook

We are a small UK publishing house looking to work with a talented editor/proofreader. Presently one of our new authors needs their first children's book to be read through and, where relevant, edited. The book contains around 40,000 words / 15 chapters. The budget is a modest one for this work but more work would follow and a long term relationship hopefully established once the right editor/proofreader is matched to the author's work.
The eBook is due to go on sale a week before Christmas 2020.
