I need a compact, handheld housing built around three laser diodes I already own— violet, green and red, each 10 mW in 8 mm line-collimated cans that run from 5 V. The finished module will serve as an experimental multi-spectrum light exposure device for personal research, so clean beam alignment, minimal stray light and basic user safety are essential. If you are local to Denver, CO and vicinity, you will be given preference. LET ME KNOW YOUR LOCATION IN MESSAGE Here is what I’m bringing to the table and what I’m expecting from you: Materials needed, and their purpose: • Programmable microcontroller (e.g., Raspberry Pi Pico, ESP32, or Arduino Nano) to input oscillatory frequencies that control the diodes as a single unit, and a timer to select running time. • Oscillator specs: Each setting will have 4 programmable ‘slots’. These will repeatedly run in sequence for the selected running time. • USB computer connection and software required to connect the microcontroller to a computer to program oscillation frequencies. • Small OLED screen, push-buttons or switches, rotary encoder, to view and move between pre-programmed frequency sets. • USB rechargeable power supply. • Case --- using off the shelf parts or 3d printed (designed to accommodate the three 8mm diameter line-generating lasers and manage mild heat dissipation). • Switches to separately turn diodes on and off. • Any other internal wires needed to make connections. This includes: • Programmed Oscillations: Implement adjustable pulse-width modulation (PWM) to create specific frequency oscillations for the lasers. • Driver Circuitry: Design a safe, USB rechargeable power distribution system capable of driving three 5V, 10mW lasers simultaneously. • User Control: Integrate a simple interface (e.g., small OLED screen, push-buttons, a rotary encoder) to select between different programmed oscillation profiles Deliverables 1. Fully assembled modules (2–4 identical pieces, as agreed). --- The following may be optional: 2. CAD files and printable drawings for the enclosure 3. Schematic, wiring diagram and complete BOM. --- If you are not local: 4. Short video or photo log that shows the build and confirms correct operation of each wavelength. 5. Secure packaging and tracked shipping to my address. If you have experience with small-run prototyping, and neat design, let’s put these beams in one package.

Greetings, I have more than 10 years of embedded hardware/firmware experience, working with STM32, ESP32 and other microcontrollers, including PCB bring-up, power circuits, PWM control and small prototype builds. For this project I would focus especially on clean control of the three laser modules, stable 5 V power, proper switching/driver circuitry, enclosure alignment, and reducing stray laser light. I am not local to Denver, but I regularly work on hardware projects remotely and have a clear process for this: schematic and CAD design, firmware development, component sourcing, assembly coordination, and photo/video verification before shipping from JLCPCB. For the controller, ESP32 or RP2040/Pico would both work well for storing the frequency profiles, running the four sequential frequency slots, timer control, OLED menu and USB configuration. I would also suggest we include basic hardware safety such as a master enable, individual laser switches and an enclosure design that minimizes accidental beam exposure. My location is Ukraine, and I am comfortable handling the project remotely through the completed 2–4 prototype units and tracked shipment. Best, Oleksandr

Hi, I am an embedded systems engineer with over 16 years of experience developing compact electronic prototypes and taking consumer-grade products from concept through enclosure design, firmware, assembly, and production preparation. I can build a neat handheld module that combines your three 5 V laser diodes with independently switched channels, programmable four-slot oscillation sequences, run-time control, an OLED/encoder interface, USB configuration, and a protected rechargeable supply. My approach would be to first confirm the frequency and PWM requirements, then prototype the driver and controls, verify timing and thermal performance, and package everything in a compact off-the-shelf or custom 3D-printed enclosure. I will pay particular attention to repeatable diode alignment, stray-light control, charging protection, and practical user-safety features. I can also provide the CAD, schematic, wiring documentation, BOM, and a photo/video test record if included in the agreed scope. The bid covers engineering and one working prototype; final pricing for 2–4 assembled units will depend on quantity, enclosure choice, component costs, and shipping. What frequency range and PWM resolution are required, and should all three diodes pulse together or support independent timing? Please contact me to discuss details.

Hi, I have experience designing compact ESP32/Pico/Arduino-based handheld hardware with PWM control, OLED interfaces, rotary encoders, rechargeable power systems, and 3D-integrated enclosures for small prototype runs. I have completed embedded designs with 10+ controlled I/O channels, USB programming, battery charging, user interfaces, and production-ready schematics/BOMs. Approach ✅ I will design the MCU control, independent laser-driver channels, programmable PWM/frequency slots, runtime timer, OLED/menu logic, USB configuration, and rechargeable 5 V power architecture. ✅ I will develop the enclosure around the three 8 mm diode modules with rigid optical alignment, thermal paths, internal baffling, and minimized stray-light leakage. ✅ I will include current limiting, master enable, per-channel switching, startup-safe states, and practical interlocks so unintended emission is minimized during handling and programming. Questions ✅ What PWM frequency range, duty-cycle resolution, and maximum continuous runtime must each programmed slot support? ✅ Are the three laser modules internally current-regulated at 5 V, or do they require external constant-current drivers? ✅ Do you require 2 or 4 finished units, and is direct user exposure prohibited so I can design the beam path and safety interlocks accordingly? Hello, I am based in JORDAN — not local to Denver — so I'll cover your non-local path: a photo/video build log confirming each wavelength, secure packaging, and tracked shipping to your address. The build is mostly alignment and clean drive: three wavelengths (violet ~405, green 532, red ~650nm) must share one beam line, so the housing needs fixed 8mm cradles, baffles against stray light, and stable current-delivered PWM rather than raw 5V switching — the green DPSS module in particular needs clean, glitch-free drive. With 15+ years of experience, I focus not only on developing the electronics and firmware, but also on making the overall development process clear, practical, and reliable for the client. I've built compact USB-rechargeable embedded prototypes with PWM-driven outputs and enclosures, so 4-slot sequencer profiles on a Pico/ESP32, OLED + rotary encoder UI, and per-diode switching are straightforward. I can deliver 2–4 assembled units with schematic, wiring, and BOM. Tell me your preferred module count and I'll confirm timeline and cost. Best regards, Hamza
