I need a script that will:
1. check once each day a page of a local radio channel, detect any new recordings that are available for a predefined number of shows
2. create a folder / directory named with the name of the show and date of the recording (e.g. "Morning News Sept 27, 2014")
3. save the recording of the corresponding show as mp3 files which are each 1.5 minutes long (except for the last file which may be shorter), numbered as "00 - [name] [date]", "01 - [name] [date]", and so on.
You can write your script for either Windows or OS X (or Linux if the dependancies are available also for OS X) and in any scripting language that you prefer (but if possible, I'd prefer you write in python).
You can use any free / open source dependencies that you like, e.g. for the splitting of the audio files, as long as they aren't potentially containing spyware etc.
The script should be accompanied by a readme explaining the precise installation steps including how to get all of the required dependencies (if any).
Please mention with your bid which scripting language you want to use and for which platform.
