We are looking for an experienced API developer that can create a comprehensive API Client that consumes multiple SOAP endpoints. Part of this job will require a gateway running on our server (behind a firewall) that takes data from our local SQL server and transmits it to an AWS SQL Server. It will also need to be able to pull information from the AWS SQL Server into the local server. Additionally, the main component of this app will communicate with the AWS SQL Server, create a soap client based on 1 of 5 WSDLs (for various vendors) make two separate calls (each with a list of purchase orders), the first will determine if the second needs to be run. The responses will need to be saved in a database table AND save the raw request/response will need to be saved in a directory. Once the first two calls are made, a third call will need to be made approximately one hour after receiving a response for each purchase order sent. The third call will also be stored in a database, and as raw request/response. The system should gracefully handle errors, logging them in a database table, a daily error log file, and sending a notification email. The system will also have key trigger alerts. We would prefer this system built on a NodeJS or Python stack. • You must have experience with relational databases (preferably Microsoft SQL Server). • You must have experience working with SOAP web services and understand HTTP • You must have experience with version control (preferably GIT) • You must have experience with devOps

We specialize in providing high quality apis and backend services to support cloud based apps. If I can take apart your specification, as I understand it. You require a SOAP API client to communicate with SOAP services. This client will: - Communicate with up to five endpoints, depending on necessity. - Save the responses (which part to be discussed) in an SQL table. - Save raw request/response to a local file system. - Robust error handling, (log to a database, daily log files, email on error) - Key trigger alerts (I don't know if you mean database trigger or on key press?) You also require a service on your local to server to handle some form of data synchronization to an RDS instance. I should talk to you to discuss exactly how you require this system to function. I currently don't know if you are going to run this as a local application or periodically on an EC2 instance/lambda services, or if it also requires its own restful api endpoint. Hello, I'm an experienced back-end developer, mostly working on PHP (Laravel) and NodeJS based projects. Looks like you need a rock-solid solution for moving data around servers and making 3rd party api calls to several different SOAP based services. I have worked on SOAP API on a high-scale project before. it was a project for automatically purchasing SEO backlinks from Russian service. I built this project on PHP. I also have used NodeJS for smaller SOAP API's (One of such project was here on freelancer, you can see it in my reviews). About databases, from the relational family I'm very good with MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQLite. Haven't had a chance to work on MS SQL yet, but I don't think this will be problem at all. Git and DevOps (Actually, I'd include Git in DevOps if you pardon me :) ) are not a problem as well. I've built many auto-deployment systems when working on Laravel projects. All in all, this sounds like an interesting project and my experiences matches with your requirements.
