Health check tools for server

we are facing problems with our dedicated servers which has enough RAM and cores where some processes are eating up memory and CPU time due to leaks in the application. It is a linux ubuntu apache server and the application stack includes django, postgres db, bootstrap, ajax, css. We need a person with good hands on experience in linux server maintenance to help us install relevant tools / scripts on the server which would help us arrive at root cause of hte problem we are facing (and that would be required for the health check managment for our server in the future too). The freelancer would also be consulted with results of the scripts on a daily basis for the next few days to help us find out the root cause of the issue.
