Design a covered conical pit to store at least 50 m3 of waste liquid with side slopes no steeper than 1 to 1 (45 degrees).
Assume that excavation costs $100 / m3, the side lining costs $50 / m2, and the cover material costs $25 / m2.
Determine the dimensions of the pit (top diameter, depth) that minimize cost using random / brute force.
