Job Description:
My company is in need of a student or graduate IT/Hardware technician based in Singapore.
We require a motivated technician who can assist with the setup, testing and troubleshooting of our company's technology as we deploy our services in Singapore for the first time. You will work remotely (and in person when we visit) with our Australian-based development team, who will provide all instructions and tasks for you as you work with our hardware to get it operational.
We do not require formal education, though we expect the role to suit students or recent graduates of science, engineering (Electrical, Computer Science) or IT. You should have knowledge of Raspberry Pi, electrical circuits, python, Linux and know your way around a terminal. You should be a tinkerer comfortable with a screwdriver, and be a problem solver.
The initial phases of the project will last 3 weeks, approximately 6hrs per week. There will be potential for the right candidate to continue working with us to support the ongoing delivery of our services in Singapore.
