Ability to open/create a PSIRT incident type. When a PSIRT is opened the incident bot must…
PSIRT title
Base boolean poll item/question that teams will respond to ( e.g. are you using =apache2.4)
This wiki page must be linked to the slack channel
Collect the following info from PSIRT creator
Create PSIRT wiki page from template using the incident title provided
Create a BNSEC vulnerability parent ticket in our ticketing system
Create Slack Channel and add static list of initial Incident Response team members
Add linkage to Wiki page and Slack Channel to incident
Open base poll item (creation time)
Ability to launch response process
Need to trigger PD escalation policies w/ tag of PSIRT_responders when a PSIRT is created
Invite users to slack based on escalation policies/schedules w/ the PSIRT_responders tag
Notify/include other relevant parties (Compliance/Legal)
This starts the clock for tracking response times (MTTR)
Ability for teams/users to respond to poll items
question(string) - required, auto reference to the pool/question being asked by BNSEC
who(string) - required, auto reference to user that responded
service/team(string) - required, user input team or service this response is for
response(boolean) - required, yes/no response
comment(string) - optional, extra info added by responder
ticket link(string) - optional, jira ticket number that can be added as a child of the parent PSIRT ticket
Useful events to track:
first_response(datetime) - automatically added when a response is added
last_updated(datetime) - automatically updated when a response is updated
resolve_time(datetime) - automatically updated when a response is set as “clear”/ok
Team response should collect the following data
Closing a PSIRT
Update values on closure status (remediated, deescalated)
