USB emulator (Software)

In order to connect to a vehicle ECU, a DGTECH Python USB adapter is needed (J2534 pass through device) or a USB DST-i adapter. The software used only allows these 2x adapters to be used. I want to use a PCAN USB device which is also a J2534 pass through device instead. I need something that tells the program that once PCAN USB adapter is plugged in, that it sees it as one of the above. I have the drivers for all the 3x adapters above.

So in summary, I'll just discuss my main goal here and let me know if this is possible for you to do. So, I have a Software program that requires a specific USB adapter hardware to be used with it. Dearborn Python adapter J2534 device or DST-I J2534 adapter. The adapter is expensive and I want to use a different J2534 hardware adapter. So basically, I want the program to think that one of the 2x adapters is plugged in when the PCAN adapter I want to use is actually plugged in, such that I can use the software with the adapter I already have. Both are used for similar applications. Now, I would think that if you were to have the drivers for both that somehow this should be able to be done. Any other questions?
