Looking for a freelancer with great R skills to script a simple matching function within the next 1-2 hours. We have two datasets with 5 variables each: an identifier for each observation, and four variables. We need a matching function in R that, for each observation in the first dataset, finds the best match in the second dataset. The matching criteria is: The first two variables in our dataset need be matched "exactly". The other two variables need to be "closest" matches (that is, the least distance). The task needs to be completed right now. Please only apply if you are confident you can solve this within the next 30-60 minutes. I will provide data. Thanks!
