Headless WordPress CMS Integration

We are looking for an experienced Headless WordPress developer or team to integrate a WordPress CMS backend with an existing React.js/Vite frontend application. The frontend website is already fully developed. The objective is to implement WordPress as a Headless CMS so the client can manage website content, pages, blogs, FAQs, and related content sections through a user-friendly WordPress dashboard while keeping the existing React/Vite frontend intact. *** This is NOT a website rebuild. The frontend already exists and must remain unchanged *** Existing Setup * Frontend: React.js + Vite * Target CMS: WordPress (Headless) Scope of Work Phase 1 – Headless WordPress Setup * Install and configure WordPress as a Headless CMS * Configure WPGraphQL (preferred) or WordPress REST API * Create a clean and scalable content architecture * Configure content models for: * Pages * Blog Posts * FAQs * Feature Content * Reusable content sections where appropriate Phase 2 – Frontend Integration * Connect the existing React/Vite frontend to WordPress * Fetch content dynamically from WordPress * Ensure content updates reflect correctly on the frontend * Implement appropriate API queries and data mapping Phase 3 – Content Management Enable content editors to manage: * Homepage content * pages * Integration pages * FAQs * Blog posts * General website content Estimated content-managed pages: Approximately 8–10 pages. Most pages contain relatively limited content, with only a few pages containing more extensive content sections. Phase 4 – Testing & Validation * Verify all frontend content renders correctly * Ensure no frontend design/layout regressions * Test all API integrations * Verify blog functionality * Verify FAQ functionality * Ensure content can be managed comfortably through WordPress Important Requirements Existing Frontend Must Remain Intact The project must NOT: * Rebuild the frontend * Change the existing UI/UX * Modify/Remove existing designs unnecessarily * Break existing layouts * Introduce frontend regressions The objective is CMS integration, not redesign. Therefore, we are not only looking for someone to complete this project, but potentially an agency/development partner for future collaborations as well.
