Hi, The editor itself is very doable in React Native. Fifteen adjustable filters plus vignette, blur and colour splash, rendering in under a second on a mid range phone, is a GPU shader job and that part is well solved. The Instagram integration is where I have to be straight with you, because the brief describes something the platform no longer permits. The Basic Display API, which used to let an app read a user's own Instagram media, was shut down at the end of 2024. What remains is the Graph API, and publishing through it works only for Instagram Professional accounts linked to a Facebook Page, and only after app review. It will not work for ordinary personal accounts. What does work for a consumer app is the share sheet route: the user edits inside your app, then shares out to Feed or Stories through the system share extension. Same one tap feel, no API approval needed, and it works for everybody. The trade off is no Instagram login and no importing media from Instagram - photos come from the camera roll instead. One more note on your acceptance criteria: Instagram recompresses every upload on their side, so original resolution cannot be guaranteed once it lands there.
