VFX Artist / 3D Generalist for Cinematic Sci-Fi Music Video: I’m seeking a talented VFX Artist / 3D Generalist to collaborate on a cinematic music video project. The video will be shot on green screen and composited into a realistic, atmospheric sci-fi environment with a strong emotional tone — not flashy effects, but immersive world-building and beautiful performance integration. The main focus is creating and animating environments, compositing a performer into them, and adding subtle visual effects (levitation, atmosphere, light interaction, motion). Key Responsibilities: Build or customize a realistic sci-fi environment (desert ruins / futuristic courtyard style). Composite green screen footage of the performer into the world. Match lighting, color, and depth so the performer feels truly inside the scene. Animate camera movement and environmental motion (wind, dust, clouds, light). Create subtle VFX moments (floating sand, world motion, levitation, UFO interaction). Ideal Skills: Strong experience in VFX compositing + 3D environment work. Proficiency in tools such as Blender, Unreal Engine, Maya, Cinema 4D, and compositing in After Effects, Nuke, or Fusion. Ability to create realistic cinematic lighting and mood. Portfolio showing environment creation and green screen integration. Experience with music videos, film, or narrative visuals is a big plus. Project Style: Realistic, cinematic sci-fi (not cartoony). Emotional, minimal, atmospheric. Focus on performance + world interaction rather than heavy explosions or flashy motion graphics.
