I need an application (or script) that can create pdf from a list of multiple webpages based on a list of [url removed, login to view] (batch-job).
I have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. There you can create a pdf from a webpage with different settings. E.g.: get 3 levels”, Stay on the same path, Stay on the same server.
After I done that I need to rename the pdf according to my name of that website and also change the title (File, Properties, Title) to the same name.
To get 3 levels of a site it takes several minutes (often 10-15).
I have +100 websites I would like to convert to PDFs using these settings. It is for a content analysis research project.
I would like to have an application that run this as a batch job.
Based on a list (e.g. txtfile) with two columns. First column containing name of the site (for saving and properties), second column the http-adress that will be converted.
Import that list to the application and run the create pdf from web based on these settings. The application could either be stand alone, or run the process in Adobe Acrobat Pro.
If possible I would also like to be able to adjust the settings (n levels, Stay on the same path, Stay on the same server + the option get entire site).
Looking forward for suggestions how and if this can be solved with a small application or script.
