Dear Professional Writer/Freelancer
An easy interesting research and content project you'll love.
I am looking for assistance with expanding an already existing 'reference guide' based around three concepts within the recruitment/job search process for a job seeker.
I require a person who can undertake research for suitable & useful good quality reference/educational sites and informational sites on job seeking skills AND good quality tools, checklists, questionnaires on the related topics. :
Personality profiling tools
Resume & CV writing guides/ tools.
Interview question & answer guides.
Links to specialist industry recruitment agencies in Australia/NZ - broken up by area of speciality. (e.g, Mining, Advertising, Finance, Hospitality, Technical Writing, etc...) Will provide a list/guideline.
Checklists in the job search process.
'How to' guides/ Free E'books on subject (e.g, writing cover letters, getting around gate keepers, dealing with recruiters, dress for interviews ,etc)
Free salary surveys & guides - specific to Australia/NZ
Networking - how to guides/ tools, List of Networking groups/associations etc, relevant to Australia/NZ
Job Boards (relevant to Australia/NZ)
Example Blogs of individuals who have a personal/professional blog, but are employed by a company. (i.e, not a commercial blog).
List of Industry Associations in Australia in broad industry categories.
A list of reference books or books on related above subjects published less than 5 years old.
Inspirational reference material around self motivation, keeping motivated etc...
Links to good quality professionally produced videos (not a home office video job) from YouTube/ Viddler/ TED on related recruitment/job seeking topics, acceptable but MUST NOT contain a sales pitch for a product or service. Purely educational.
Must be able to add at least another 200-250 links to good quality sites across all topics. (i.e in total, about 20-25 good quality links for each topic area, give or take).
Must not replicate any links that are already in existing guide.
Links and content must be fresh and current, not more than 5 years old. Unless really good and relevant.
Most links need to have a 1-2 sentence follower (written in good English) with brief explanation of what it is and it's purpose. Unless in a specific category that is self-explanatory. e.g, lists of recruitment agencies in the retail industry.
Links must be relevant to MAINLY a professional corporate audience + other white collar industries and some broad blue collar industries.
May be asked to re-research if links are not good quality with good in-depth useful information. No advertising in nature.
Must be completed within 1 week. You must be able to speak reasonable/good English to converse with me.
I look forward to working with a professional and motivated researcher/writer.
