Topic 1: Critically examine theoretical influences on contemporary community development.
Topic 2: Community development has a lot to offer to the public and private sectors, but there will be resistance within these sectors and within community development itself.
Critically discuss this statement
Topic 3: Community development, as an interpersonal relationship building profession, is rightly concerned with micro level changes; its adherents don’t have the knowledge or skills to be concerned with macro and meso level changes.
Discuss critically in relation to contemporary CD practice.

The essay must focus on the topics discussed in the course which you will find in the course guide which I will attached as a PDF file. If there is any information you need, please ask me as early as possible and I will do my best to source it.
The references used must come from those used in the course guide, there are links to some of them and I can provide more which I will email through.
The Essay needs to critically reflective, meaning looking at every angle of ideas about community development– pros and cons.
There must be reference used from at least 10 different sources/readings outlined in the course guide and show a critical understanding of community development.
These need to be in Harvard style, quoting the author, year and page number and all other information in the reference list.
