Job Description:
I'm looking for a researcher to do ongoing work around preparing for a family gap year.
My family and I are going away for 10 months from March next year (2024). During that time, we'll be doing everything from trekking in Nepal to learning to sail in Greece, to walking the Camino in Spain and going on safari in Africa.
Other than "exploring", we'll also be "learning" and "volunteering" by signing up for new activities and service projects along the way.
With that in mind, the research is divided into two parts: products (best hiking shoes, drone, luggage, mobile apps etc) and places/activities - helping us locate volunteering opportunities, top attractions, places to eat etc.
I would provide research direction in terms of topics, itinerary, budget etc. Research could be compiled using Excel or similar spreadsheet.
The researcher should be able to write clearly and concisely as well as provide some critical analysis. This isn't just "list making", the researcher needs to provide well-researched and evidence-backed recommendations.
Once our travels begin, there could also be ongoing content support work for our various platforms.
