I have a wordpress installation and I want to create a job board. I will be using the WP job board plugin found at: www.wpjobboard.net. I installed it and it worked fine on my test domain, but on the primary domain things changed a bit.
It's (probably) down to the fact that I want to run the board from the primary domain AND that I want to be able to create posts and pages. This didn't work once I got the plugin to work from the primary domain.
Also, title tags were disabled once I moved to the primary doamin.
The developer is _very_ helpfull with support, you may contact him if you need to ask anything.
He has been trouble shooting by email to me, all of these will be forwarded to you.
Once this installation is running smoothly - please use and check all features using the (free) theme called "mainstream" (from WooThemes) - there are a few minor things you should do as well:
- Change the width via the CSS.
- Insert my adsense code on all individual job pages (easy, developer told me how to do this)
- Remove the "apply now" button on job pages (easy, developer told me how to do this)
- Install a widget (or plugin or what ever) that pops up after 1 minutte and offers the visitor to sign up for my job alerts. The plugin/ website will offer job alerts as standard on the right hand side navgation, and I need these two fields to pop up, just like on [url removed, login to view] after browsing one minutte or so with some accompanying text.
I guess that's all!
We will fine tune the site/ theme via CSS afterwards, but over all I think the right guy should be able to do a good job in no time here ;-)
