easy calendar reminder script modification

which gives people the option to get a reminder e-mail a certain amounnt of days before the event directly to their e-mail, all design work will be done by me, i just need to get this script working, it will be implemented on this page [url removed, login to view]

please also tell me how you will go about doing this.
