Hi, I am looking for a company, able to realize the following project, which is a start-up project in the moment. I am sure, that some of you know about "fotolia" or "shutterstock", websites, where you are able to buy and sell photos without the need of a licence. So far, private people are able to register with them to upload there photos to get some money if someone is interested in the specific photo for use online or in print media. The one who is using the photo, needs to pay some money for it. Since the world goes more and more online, I would like to offer a website, that is using the same idea: selling your stories to other people. Maybe there is a good story teller but no publisher is going to publish your story as a book. So - welcome at the website. Find private people that like your story and get at least some money for it....
What I need:
a well working web site, based on what ever you think is good for it. Probably Typo3 would be the solution of my choice. People should be able to register with the service after they have agreed to the terms of using. Registration could be similar to this one: "[url removed, login to view]".
As well there is a registration needed for people buying the storys. Maybe similar to this one: "[url removed, login to view]". I think, customers should have the chance to chose from different packages. Some kind of flatrate or only one story...? Chose.
Okay, further a payment gateway should be integrated. I prefer Paypal, because everything is easy, fast and save for both of them.
Uploads should be done as PDF or maybe some standard text format files like doc or docx. Also Mac Users should be deeply welcome. So make sure the site is working well with Safari.
At the end of the day and AFTER the website is online and well working, I am thinking about an app for the iPad, since it is perfect for reading ebooks. It is important as well, that all kind of customers can register for a newsletter and the website should be ready for bi-lingual usage. Also Google and other search engines should be able to find the web site.
