Virtualization --- VMware
We are going to be automating a data refresh process.
This project will consist of writing a power shell script to interface our software API.
What we will do is snapshot server A , then will then make cl0nes from the snapshot-ed data.
We will delete the cl0ne , keeping the VMDK disks of data ., We will then attached the disks to a remote set of servers.
This process will be done every 15 minutes. We will want to make sure the script is properly documented so that an admin can just change key words like server names and driver letters in the script.. This will allow us to easily port it other environments.
You will be working with our engineering team to help you with our API.
You just have to be a Powershell expert. We estimate 40 hours or coding , 20 hours
QA and debugging.
