I'm looking for a reliable and experienced local assistant based in Delhi, India to help me manage and supervise the entire supply chain process for shipping children's clothing from Delhi, India to Jebel Ali, UAE. I'm not looking for someone who will only search for a freight forwarder. I need someone who is physically based in Delhi and can personally visit the supplier, inspect the goods, supervise the preparation and loading, coordinate with the freight forwarder and oversee the supply chain from the supplier's location until the shipment is arranged and handed over to the freight forwarder. Shipment Information Product: Children's clothing Approximate weight: 300 kg Volume: Approximately 1 CBM Origin: Delhi, India Destination: Jebel Ali, UAE Shipping method: Sea freight Shipping terms: DDP Pickup: EXW from the supplier's warehouse in Delhi Shipping and inspection frequency: Shipping and inspection will be required on a regular monthly basis. Supplier's address in India: State: Delhi City: New Delhi Area: Gandhi Nagar Locality: Multani Mohalla Street: Prem Gali As for the address in the UAE, I will personally collect the shipment from the freight forwarder's warehouse in the UAE. Your Responsibilities 1. Supplier Coordination Communicate directly with the supplier. Visit the supplier's warehouse in Delhi when required. Verify that the supplier and goods are genuine. Check the quantity, condition, packaging and general quality of the goods. 2. Quality Control / Inspection Personally inspect the goods or arrange a suitable inspection. Take photos/videos and provide me with a detailed inspection report. Confirm that the goods match the agreed specifications before shipment. 3. Supply Chain Supervision Supervise the process from the supplier's warehouse until the goods are handed over to the freight forwarder. Arrange and supervise loading. Coordinate local transportation from the supplier to the freight forwarder. Make sure the goods are properly packed and prepared for sea freight. 4. Freight Forwarder & DDP Shipping Find and communicate with reliable freight forwarders in Delhi. Obtain and compare quotations. Negotiate the best possible shipping rate. Arrange sea freight from Delhi to Jebel Ali under DDP terms. Confirm that the DDP quotation includes all applicable destination charges, customs clearance, import duties/taxes, documentation, and other required charges. Ensure there are no hidden charges. Provide me with the final quotation and a clear breakdown of all costs before any payment is made. 5. Payments & Financial Responsibility I will provide the required funds through the platform before any payment is made. I need you to make the payment to the freight forwarder on my behalf and provide me with proof of payment. Regarding the supplier in Delhi, I would prefer that either you or the freight forwarder make the payment to the supplier on my behalf. Whoever makes the payment to the supplier must take responsibility for the payment and transaction and provide me with proof of payment. I will provide the supplier's payment amount through the platform before the payment is made. Please confirm whether you can handle these payments and take responsibility for them. 6. Shipment Tracking Follow up with the freight forwarder throughout the shipment process. Provide me with regular updates regarding the shipment status and relevant information. Shipping Budget My target budget is approximately USD 60–117 per CBM. However, for the first shipment, the maximum total budget I'm currently willing to consider is USD 200, including the DDP sea freight and inspection, as well as the other requirements we have discussed. I want a clear final cost with no hidden or unexpected charges. Important I'm specifically looking for someone who is physically based in Delhi and can personally supervise the supplier and logistics process. Your role should be more than simply finding a freight forwarder. I need someone who can act as my local representative in Delhi and supervise the entire supply chain from the supplier to the freight forwarder. If the first shipment goes well there will be regular monthly shipping and inspection, with additional shipments every month. Please Include in Your Proposal Your experience with India–UAE shipments. Your experience with freight forwarding and supply-chain management. Whether you are based in Delhi and can personally visit the supplier. Whether you can personally conduct QC/inspection. Whether you can supervise the entire supply chain from the supplier to the freight forwarder. What services you can provide and what you cannot provide. Your fixed fee or service charge for the first shipment. Your expected fee for regular monthly shipments. The estimated time required to start the work after hiring. Whether you can make payments to the freight forwarder and supplier on my behalf through the agreed process while taking responsibility for those transactions.
