Hello, We have open the scope of our project. Please carefully red the changes as we believe they may be more interesting for a freelancer with the right skills. The development requested is a plugin for an ecommerce platform. It can be either WooCommerce, Shopify or Odoo. This project bid is just for one only platform. Our selection of the platform will be based on the experience of the freelancer and the success risks that we may perceive. Once this project is successfully finalized, we will open 2 new projects with the same scope and for each one of the remaining 2 ecommerce platforms. Needless to say that the freelancer that is chosen for this project will have the biggest chances to gain the other 2 future projects (i.e. the development of the same plugin for the remaining 2 ecommerce platforms). Description of the plugin to be developed for an ecommerce platform: A) the store that has an ecommerce portal or is installing an ecommerce portal can install the plugin in the most easiest way. The store will need and ID (unique identifier) and password to activate it. B) Once the plugin is installed, this is how it will work: 1) In the shopping cart, the ecommerce system will offer the buyer ABC the option to add the product XXX to the cart. This product is always the same, no matter what the buyer is purchasing. Just to help understanding: this is similar to adding an extended guaranty that some ecommerce portals offer just prior to finishing the purchase. 2) If the buyer has added the product XXX to his purchase, when he confirms the payment the system sends via API to NNN server a request for a Code. The server NNN is known and is always the same. The call to API includes the identifier of the Store and preferably a unique identifier of the buyer (this can be the buyer# registered in the ecommerce system). 3) The NNN server returns the Code via API. The Code is alphanumeric . Some hyperlinks and description may be part of the response sent through the API to eCommerce. From this moment on, that Code is linked to the buyer ABC in the ecommerce system (this Code is unique for that buyer ABC ). 4) eCommerce sends to the buyer ABC the confirmation of his purchase using the standard ecommerce process (very likely through an email notification). This confirmation contains the alphanumeric code, the hyperlinks and a short description to activate his purchase of the product XXX. 5) Periodically: the NNN server generates via API the order of a YYY product in the ecommerce portal on behalf of the buyer ABC (i.e. sends an order as if done by the buyer ABC). Explanation: the NNN server is able to identify some needs of the buyer ABC in an automated way; when this happens, it will create an order in the ecommerce system of the store on behalf f buyer ABC. 6) The ecommerce system generates an on-hold order for product YYY and sends a notification to buyer ABC. This notification is sent according to the standard procedures of the ecommerce platform (very likely the notification is an email) . 7) When purchaser ABC confirms the order for product YYY, the order is processed accordingly. The process above can be modified according to the technical requirements of the ecommerce technology.
