Shopify Pre-Order Store Setup

I’m getting ready to launch a line of physical products and I want the entire Shopify storefront configured so customers can place reliable pre-orders from day one. I already have a Shopify account; what I need is the technical and design set-up that turns a standard store into a seamless pre-order experience. Key things I’d like handled: • Configure pre-order functionality (partial or full payment capture, “ship on” dates, automated back-in-stock notices). • Set clear messaging on product, cart, and checkout pages so buyers always know they’re ordering in advance. • Tweak inventory settings so stock isn’t decremented until we fulfil the orders. • Set up email flow—order confirmation, shipping reminder, delay notices—within Shopify or through Klaviyo if that’s faster. • Optimise the product pages for speed and mobile since most of my traffic will come from phones. The products themselves are physical, so anything you implement has to accommodate shipping zones, real-time rates, and label generation later. I’m open on theme choice as long as the end result looks clean, modern, and conversion-focused; feel free to suggest an off-the-shelf theme or light customisation if that makes more sense. Deliverables: a fully functional Shopify store that can accept live pre-orders, tested in both desktop and mobile views, with a quick hand-off guide so I can add future products by myself.
