Fixing Shopify Coming Soon page

I'm looking for some assistance on my Shopify coming soon page ([login to view URL] file in the editor). The previous Shopify developer was able to engineer my custom design, however, they cannot get the bugs fixed.

Desktop

The coming soon page should be fixed and flushed from the top and bottom. Meaning, there should be no spacing/gaps at the top or bottom of the page. The page is split into two parts, a static image on the left (that should be responsive), and content on the right. However, when any type of change is made to the right side content (e.g. increase logo size, additional text content, padding, or removal of content), a random gap/spacing appears on the left side of the page. This should not be happening. Any changes to the right side of the page should solely effect the right side. Not the left side. See screenshots attached for reference. In addition, I need the page to be responsive across all screen dimensions. See screenshot attached.

Mobile

When content changes/updates take place, there seems to be too much padding being added at the bottom of the page. There should be no scroll by design. It also seems this happens when a change is made to the content on desktop. See screenshot attached.

Desired outcomes:

I would like the page to be truly responsive on both desktop and mobile.

I would like to ensure the page on desktop is flushed from the top and bottom so there are no gaps/spacing when a change is made to the right side page content.

I would like to reduce the spacing/padding on mobile so there is no scroll and it's a single elegant page.

I am launching my coming soon campaign tomorrow, and need these items fixed ASAP. The successful developer for the above will have more gigs for the actual store website - this is just the coming soon page.
