We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shopify Website Developer to work as a freelancer on an exciting project for our apparel business. As a Shopify Website Developer, you will be responsible for building a new, visually appealing, and user-friendly website on the Shopify platform. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing our online presence, attracting customers, and driving sales.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with our team to gather requirements and understand the goals and objectives of the website project.
• Design and develop a custom Shopify website that reflects our brand identity and showcases our apparel products effectively.
• Implement a responsive and mobile-friendly design to ensure optimal user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
• Customize the website layout, navigation, and product pages to create a seamless and intuitive browsing experience.
• Integrate necessary third-party apps and plugins to enhance the website’s functionality, such as payment gateways, inventory management systems, and marketing tools.
• Optimize website performance, including page load speed and search engine optimization (SEO) techniques, to improve visibility and drive organic traffic.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the website’s functionality, cross-browser compatibility, and overall performance.
• Provide training and documentation to our team members on how to manage and update the website content, products, and inventory.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, trends, and best practices to continually improve the website and user experience.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in developing and customizing Shopify websites, preferably with a portfolio of previous projects.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with Shopify themes and the ability to create custom themes from scratch.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience in implementing them on Shopify websites.
• Experience with integrating and configuring third-party apps and plugins on Shopify.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
