I would like you to create a simple geocoder php / google maps api v. 3. No database required.
Have a look at [url removed, login to view] - This is similar to how the geocoder interface will look like.
There will be 2 text areas - one for user to insert his tab OR comma separated input - addresses and one that shows the generated output - decimal (=google) coordinates.
The script should recognize if the input contains tabs and if so, it should convert these to commas. Below textareas there will be selection of the output - either comma separated or tab separated coordinates - again you will be able to reuse the PHP input/output used on the link above. After the script is running and geocoding, user will be get the success rate after each conversion, e.g. Geocoded: 89 Not found: 11
The geocoding has to use cache - so that I can test it with the same 2,000 addresses over and over without going over the daily limit. The output
has to be sorted exactly in the same way as the input.
Next to the text area with the results, there will be 4 radio buttons placed one under the other:
ROOFTOP, RANGE_INTERPOLATED, GEOMETRIC_CENTER, APPROXIMATE - these are for the user to select Geocoding accuracy.
Below radio options there will be a checkbox option "include coordinates into output". If this is checked, coordinates will be included in the output box.
Below the checkbox there will be another checkbox option "include accuracy into output". If this is checked, accuracy will be included in the output box.
So - If neither of the two boxes is checked then the output box will only contain the geocoded addresses.
It should be straightforward. Reward: 100$. Please let me know if you are interested; otherwise I will go and publish it,
thank you, have a nice day,
