simple news script with mods

My script is fairly simple.

It really is just a “news script” with a few modifications.

For a reference look at the news blog scripts at boingboing.net. Something along those lines with the date, story, and it needs to be able to be commented on.

What I need is a submission page where people can put in text and or an image which gets sent to me (not email). In my admin I need a section where I can view all the posts quickly (read and view image) and if and only if I approve then the post gets sent to the page where people can comment. I should also be able to set categories for these posts.

For the archives, its really all similar. Users should be able to view all posts in a number of ways, by category, date, etc. Also need a search feature so they can search by title.

My website is already built. It’s static (which is why im here) so when I get this script there will be many more pages as I get more submissions. I am going to have ads in the same spot on every page so I need a feature for my webpage that lets me change the ads without having to go to every page.

So as you can see it’s the same thing as a “news script” with only submission, approval and my advertisement feature.
