2 Simple PHP/MySql projects....

Project 1....Bottom line….We want to know which location is closest to the city and state we provide and what that number set. This should not be a lot of work, as we have provided all the data, and have provided examples of the code. I need this done within 12 hours of awarding the job. If you cannot do that, then do not bid!

Table zipData

Contains Location_id for some primary locations

Zip Code

Latitude

Longitude

City

And State

Table tmp_job_data is to contain data that is loaded from an Excel spreadsheet. 2 of the fields on this sheet are city and state.

You are to create a data loader using MYSQL and PHP that will take the File

1. Load it into tmp_job_data

2. Query the ZipData table for the Latitude and Longitude of the City and State Located in the tmp_job_data

3. Compare results of #2 with the closest Latitude and longitude in zipData where the Location_id field is not Null using the method described in [url removed, login to view] and insert the closest location_id from zipData into the tmp_job_data

4. Load tmp_job_data into job_data

Cut in a new template into an old site.

Both projects are very simple, we just do not have the time to get them done! Get the Data loader done first!
