I already have a fully-functional Simulink model that performs Direct Torque Control on a six-phase PMSM in healthy conditions. Your job is to turn it into a fault-aware benchmark. After I share the model and motor parameters, please add the logic necessary to reproduce three specific electrical faults—open-phase, short-circuit, and turn-to-turn—so I can toggle each one independently during simulation. The main question I need answered is whether the controller still produces smooth, nearly sinusoidal phase currents and maintains stable torque-speed regulation once a fault is introduced. What I expect from you • Updated Simulink file with clearly labelled fault-injection blocks and any supporting subsystems. • A concise results note (one page is fine) that lists the key metrics for each scenario: peak-to-peak current ripple, total harmonic distortion, and steady-state torque/speed error. Plots are optional; concise tables or bullet values are acceptable because I selected “Summary with key metrics” for documentation level. Feel free to choose whatever modelling style suits you best as long as it remains inside standard Simulink—no extra toolboxes are mandatory. If you see value in parameterising the fault timing or severity, go ahead; just keep the interface simple.
